what's the relationship between minIO buckets and lakeFS repos? Should every repo have its own bucket or can multiple repos sharing the same bucket?

Regarding the second question. Every repo needs it’s own namespace.
Those can be in the same bucket on MinIO if you like.

But you do need a separate path within the bucket for each lakeFS repo
