12/28/2022, 4:32 PMTBH I reckon you could equally just use the C preprocessor to do this. No need for a full term rewriting system like m4.
But @Oz Katz maybe embed a real language like SNOBOL rather than just Lua?
Actually, @Oz Katz , if you're fortunate enough to be using C with Embedded SQL on Informix, it seems that using the C preprocessor to generate your queries is a supported option.
