As an OSS developer, I find it unfortunate that GitHub actions are being used to downgrade existing standard-based time-tested solutions into a more limited proprietary framework. This is a refactoring of the original internet use-case, that existed well before Java. The standard HTCPC/1.0 appeared 3 years after Java did, and is the origin of HTTP status code 418.
