Hello, sorry to bother you all once again. I have lakeview up and running now. I am however experiencing a problem when running a 'compare' the error presented on the webpage is

'Athena Query Status: FAILED, reason: SYNTAX_ERROR: line 22:5: Column 'd1.common_prefix' cannot be resolved'

Is there anyone who knows why this happens? I can also provide the entire athena query if that helps. I'm not an sql expert by any stretch

Hey Jurgen, we're happy to help with lakeview ☺️ Let me dive a little deeper into the code and maybe even try setting an env for myself. This might take a while and I'll update this thread. Meanwhile I'm curious about your use case with lakeview. If you don't mind sharing, what is it exactly that you're trying to achieve with it?

thank you. The best way to explain what I'm trying to do is to put it into a scenario. I am providing a storage solution, this solution might store quite a bit of data in any number of directories. The owners of this data may at some point misplace, or accidentally delete some data, they quite often might not know exactly where it was, or how much they deleted. I need to have a visual way to find the data and then using that info retrieve it.

Hey @jurgen, we’re having some technical issues releasing the new version of

lakeview

. Meanwhile, I did submit the fix. So if you clone the repo, a simple

docker build -t treeverse/lakeview:test .

would allow you to test the fixed image.

Thanks @Itai Admi I appreciate that. I'll try to get it tested, I have to push changes through our security department. Please let me know when you have updated the release - its much easier to test that way, I dont have to have new changes made by the security team
