The incomparable Murali (@msuriar on Twitter) posted this great summary of a talk at SRECon about LSM trees and SSTables. A lot like Graveler. They don't have to store history, which lets them do optimizations we cannot easily do. But we can definitely steal be inspired by a lot of this...
