Hey all! I'm new to lakeFS. Are there limitations in using lakeFS without docker? We have our data lake stored in the cloud and my teammates share a VM to work directly with datasets. Currently, we never needed docker. Is it ok not use it?

Hi @Manuel Leão and welcome to the lake lakefs You can run lakeFS directly on your shared VM, as it is a single binary with absolutely zero feature limitations without Docker. However, skipping Docker just means you will need to manually install its required metadata database (like PostgreSQL) and configure the background processes yourself instead of using one automated setup command.
