Hi @Rudra Prasad Dash and welcome to the lake lakefs Can you please share some more details like relevant code extract and logs?

@Rudra Prasad Dash are you using the initial key/secreted generated by setup? can you start fresh with clean database, follow the setup and see after you log in with the credentials that they are working the same from the UI, cli and api?

The problem I faced was, I was running LakeFS using docker, on the first run I was logging in the UI and collecting the access-key and secret. Now the thing if restart the container, the old credentials were not working and everytime it was redirecting to the login page.
Even the
/setup_lakefs
was not working after the restart

I assume you are using the local database, so the information is stored as part of the container image or volume. The default location to store the data is the <home>/lakefs/... directory. Suggest to store the information on your host using volume mount - if you start fresh, you will be redirected to setup and create a new key/secret. It can be only setup once so removing the image to volume mount to a fresh location will trigger setup again.

yeah, that's the trick, I did that. But yeah, should be mentioned in the documentation somewhere
Right now, I kind of building a DVC for all of my datasets and I am finding lakefs git like UI very convenient.
